OK Kerry is not that old. He is 50 next birthday, but we’ve known each other for 10 years. I served as his councillor on the Elders Quorum Presidency, I can’t remember for how long. I’m sure it was over a year. We had a good relationship working together. He was also my High Priests Group Leader before he left to go back to the USA last year.
He had a two week working holiday in India and stopped off here in Huntingdon on the way home. We invited him over for the evening and had some fun reminiscing and talking about the things going on in our lives at the moment. His son has put in his mission papers and his daughter is growing up into a fine young woman.
I’d like a job which required me to visit a country and tour it for a few weeks and just be a tourist. I’m sure Kerry may have had to do more than that, but he was just being a tourist. Nice job if you can get it. 🙂
