Today we had Haart come to see the house. They tell us it should sell very well as it is not cluttered. All credit for that goes to Sam who has been having sort out over the past few weeks in prepartion. If we go with them you’ll be able to tour the house from their web site. That will be interesting.
If we find a buyer soon we should have everything wrapped up soon. Obviously we can’t complete until we have a visa in our hands. The logisitics of packing etc. is still my biggest concern. Maybe finding a job at the correct salary should be. For some reason I’m not concerned about that.
The interest rate in New Zealand is going up. They are trying to prevent a house price collapse. For selfish reasons, I want the interest rates to go up and the house market to collaspe and the dollar to weaken against the pound. That way I can have more dollars for my money, earn interest while we’re renting and when we buy the prices will be cheaper. Then the interest rates can come down.
