Packers

The packers came this morning and packed the house. They did everything in about 4 hours. When the van arrived I thought it was going to be too small, but there was room to spare. They did an excellent job.

We made one mistake though. We forgot to take something out of a wardrobe, so it was packed too. Problem was that it is wicker, filled with other peoples stuff and also has some tins of corned beef in it. The wicker and corned beef are not allowed into New Zealand! We think we know which package it is in. We know the rough range of numbers of the packages from the bedroom. They are going to try and find the stuff and I’ll have to go and get it from the storehouse tomorrow. It’s somewhere in Essex.

I also forgot to take one suit into another room, so all my suits got packed. The suit I was keeping out also had our temple recommends in it and we were due to get them signed by the Stake Presidency tonight. Disaster. We’ll have to get them done again when we get to Totara Park Ward.

Other than those ‘minor’ hiccups we think the day went well 🙂
