So far no luck. In the last week I’ve had 3 interviews. I did get a job offer from one company but I declined it. I may regret that if something doesn’t turn up soon. Another comany said no as I didn’t have enough experience of the full SDLC. The annoying thing is that my CV doesn’t say I do. They also said my knowledge was too ‘siloed’. So now spending a lot of time becoming good at one set of things is a back thing? I can learn the missing stuff, just as I learnt the stuff I know now.
I’ve spent a few days going through some of the tutorials on Microsoft ASP site. Interesting from a new thing point of view. A lot of what is really happening is hidden away in autogenerated code. Sometimes not a bad thing. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.
