We were talking to the children the other day about how they were enjoying living here. We asked if anyone wanted to go back to the UK.
Ben : Would we go to the same house?
Me : I doubt it.
Ben: Same town?
Me: I doubt it.
Ben : Forget it then. We can stay here.
A few of Ben’s friends have either moved to other towns or are planning to move elsewhere in Huntingdon.
We asked Erin where she was from and she said. “I’m from New Zealand!” I think we are going native.
I was at a pesto tasting with the HP social club yesterday. There were 10 of us at a table. Of those there was one South African, one Irish, one Guernsian, three Brits and three or four Kiwis. It seems like half of the staff in the Wellington office are expats of various nations. Several of us have come in the last twelve months. Others have been here for years. It’s a big country and there is plenty of space 🙂
