A few things have happened in the last 4 weeks since I wrote anything.
Sam had an enjoyable week at the Temple. She was able to do some work for my dads side of the family. We missed here, but it did her a world of good being there so so long. I was here looking after the kids, doing the school stuff and being a house husband for a while. I enjoyed it. I get to spend a week there in November.
Ben did play Rugby that day and his team won. They were playing the local private school. They play them again next week as part of a warm up for a Wellington wide tournament happening soon. They are still undefeated, so it should be fun to see how they do against teams they have never met.
Ben had his half year report this week. It was very good. He is achieving everything they expect and exceeding in about half. We have an interview with his college for next year soon. No date yet, but it will be good to see what they think of him. Ben and I went to an open evening a while back and I was impressed with the school.
Krisitian hasn’t played soccer for 4 weeks, due to bad weather and holidays. They played today and just managed to win 5 – 3. They scored all 5 goals in the second half. It showed that they’ve not played for a while. They are still undefeated but they played badly today until about the last 10 minutes.
The big news is that I’m no longer with HP. I started a new job 4 weeks ago. The new job is with a small company called FirstLight Online. There are about 30 in the Wellington office. We have an online advertising product. I work on the in-house tools used to provide the service etc. I’ve recently started on a management tool for something we are doing. 🙂 I much prefer it. Everyone is very young. I must be one of the oldest and I’m not even 40 🙁
